We long traveled a 00 SRX with Viper shocks. We made the 7.5mm extensions. Everything else looks to be fine. Reading through the posts it looks like we should have needed longer limiter straps? The stock ones seem to work fine? Was this just for certain years or something? I am also wondering what I would put on for transfer rods? Would I buy them for a viper? Thanks guys!!

The longer limiter straps will allow you to use the full travel of the middle shock. But you would have to adjust them to keep enough ski pressure. Don't quote me on the transfer rods, but if you get maxximum perf. quik-rods i beleive they fit long and short travel rear skids! I put a set of re-valved viper shocks on my 98 srx and i trully beleive that it rides better than my 04 viper S! I ride extremely agressive( All the moguls I can find )

I am pretty sure the 00-02 SRX's had the longer strap that is needed for this conversion. My 02 has the same length as the viper, and I think those other years did also. 98-99 were the short straps.
