Looking at picking up an 04 Viper ER. I had a 2002 Viper. What major changes did Yamaha make between these years? Did they address the shock issue? Besides the ohlins and ripsaw, will this sled ride just as good as the Viper S?
I'm about to put money down on this. Would like any input before I do.

The ride is better then an 02. The ER has the "softer" shocks for a better ride and the seat on the 04S & 04ER is much nicer, (I put a 04 seat cover on my 02 --thicker with foam backing). We have an 04S & 04ER in our group.The ER can take a beating and rides great. Put a "Yamaha low chrome" windshield on it and it will look awesome like this one--
