What is everyone using for gauges? I know having one for each cylinder is optimum but that is a some serious $$, can you just monitor the Mag side and calibrate the tempaflow from that then just watch to make sure it stays in spec? I'm thinking of just a simple autometer gauge but don't know how well it will hold up beating down the trail.
Main reason is when I add triple pipes I just want to have a simple gauge that tells me when/if I get into trouble. I'm thinking of the EGT gauge and then a tempflow and calibrating the tempaflow based on the color of the plugs and then what ever EGT that is realize its sort of the max temp I want to run. Good plan? Thoughts? Thanks!
