What is the best way to remove the studs from your track after you get the nuts off? I just removed a 192 nuts and the studs and backers don't want to come off.

you could just tighten the track quite a bit, and pound them out with a hammer. That is one of the better ways i have found.

They don't seem to want to come out with a hammer.

try a jackhammer, lol. Yea those buggers are crazy hard to get out, especially if they have been in there are a couple years. Another thing i do is to put a vice grips on the tip of them and just shake them back and forth, twist them, jerk them around till they pop out. No method is easy.

anyone know who has the best price on woodys mega bites 1.175 I need 168 of them. I'm not screwing with trying to take out a 192 of these things.

They should pound right out. They don't have plastic backers on them by chance?

its easy. you get a allen wrench bit that fits them and fits a drill. Put the drill in reverse, and screw them right out. have a good pair of channel locks handy to hold the backers if they spin too. Maxdlx

Yep they have plastic backers. The track is still on the sled so it not easy to put a wrench on them.

Use an air ratchet with an allen bit in it. Usually a short extension helps out too. A short piece of square tubing helps hold the backer. Once you get the hang of it you can get them out in a few seconds a stud. With 192 it will take a while though. Maybe 1/2 hour - 1 hour or so.

I usually take the snowflap off, or tie it up and work above the rear axle.

Plastic backers suck to try to remove. Been there, never again. Aluminum from now on.

probably glad you got that job out of the way, it is never fun, and there is no easy way to do it, except to not do it
