I have a 78 Exciter that I am slowly building into a modified vintage drag sled. I have twin GPX pipes on and twin 36mm Carbs. I have not done any clutching yet.
The sled only turns up 7000 RPM, maybe a little more. Is there a way to increase the top RPM by clutching or compression??
The bottom end power increase and response is pretty awesome, but dies off fairly quickly.
Thanks

to increase your top end rpm, you need to run lighter clutch weights in your primary clutch.
