My son had a accident with our 98 500 XT. I need to replace the left front suspension, everything. I was wondering if the aftermarket trailing arms were any good or if they are just cheap junk?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
Kimpex arms are not as durable as the stock one, so I advise against using them. Some of the other ones are pretty good but cost a lot more.
If it were me, I would try to find used parts on here or at your local boneyard.

My buddy got an arm from Royal Distributing for his 97 ski-poo formula Z and it was ****. The camber angle and shock mount were different and the radius rod mount broke off after the 3rd ride.
Check with oshawa cycle salvage 1/2 the price of new.

yea the kimpex ones that come from most of the parts suppliers are junk, they are built of MUCH weaker steel, and are a lot thinner, and have less bracing on the back. For a cheap fix, fine. If you want it to run for years, get an OEM. You should definately be able to find a used one off of a totalled sled.
