Well i just got back from huntsville canada sunday, they had good snow.I took my stock 04 viper s and ran against my freinds 02 mxz 800,04 sabercat 600 and a 05 mach z.We ran on the lake, top end for at least 3 miles.Me and the mxz 800 were neck and neck,if i got the holeshot he couldnt catch me and if he got the hole shot i couldnt catch him.I beat the sabercat easily, the mach z obviously beat me but it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be,it took him a while to catch me out of the hole and then he slowly passed me on the top end and kept pulling away,i expected him to blow by me with ease.I think with pipes i would give that mach a good run top end on the lake. The best i got running wide open on the snow covered lake was 117 mph on the speedo, which is probably around 105 or so,i was happy the way it ran.I did some open water in dorset with the viper too and it didnt do that bad,i was a little nervous to try it.Its all over for this year, had some good times this winter.cant wait to do it all again next year!

What time were you in Dorset? Stayed at the Nordic Inn all week-end and we were down watching the skippers Fri and Sat between 5-6pm. Did about 600KM over the week-end. Got any pics???

None of those are me and we didn't see any Yami's making the run. When we got there Saturday, They were pulling a Doo out of the far end. There is a sled in these pics doing a little 2-up skipping.

We got ther around 3:00 saturaday and had lunch at the fiery grill. We seen a black spider web f7 go down around 4:00.I didnt do the whole channel,i just crossed the end, didnt feel like swimming. My buddy took some pictures i'll try and post them when he gives me the doubles. We were there sunday too, around 11:00 am.

Tried a little water-skipping sunday, 1 good run, 1 not so good! Water hit the clutches and it was over. Luckily it was only about a foot deep where it ended and about 10 feet from the other shore. It was about 100 feet across, so it was a pretty sweet ride. Near Lovells , going into the grayling artillary range.

Those are some pretty sweet pic's of water crossing. The one that sparks my interest the most is the older style doo' coming under the bridge with one ski in the air #$%&* , that is crazy. I didn't think it was possible to hit water with only one ski. Thought that would throw you right over.

Pretty sure that guy was a local. Must have made a couple dozen passes while I was there, some on different sleds. I think the Ski-doo he is on in the pic was his and is an MXZ 800. He was trying to splash the dude sitting on the edge. Was also pulling wheelies and almost coming to a stop and restarting while he was out there, quite the hot-dogger, but he knew his sled well.
