I have a 91 exciter II which no longer runs it needs a new top end, I know that the 570 motors have alot in common with the newer 600 twins but would a top end from a 94-98 600 twin work on this 570 bottom end? also what about a 700 triple motor swap how hard would this be?

The 600 top end won't work, 570 is a piston port and 600 is reed valve.
Tripple would be very tough, the pipe would be a big problem.
I have a good 91 motor (120 comp both cyls) $300+shipping from 47390.

I'm in Union City, on the Ohio line 20 miles north of I-70. Are you going to the auction Saturday? I plan to be there and can bring it along. Let me know.

I was under the impression that the Exciter II's had Nicasil coated cylinders? Am I off on this one? I know MY89 has iron cylinders that makes boring and honing for the next OS piston size childs play.
