Michigan Motorcycle Insurance?

Is anyone close to 21 that lives in michigan and rides a motorcycle. I am looking at getting a bike and was just wondering what I would pay for insurance.

By the way is anyone selling their bike, preferable any older one, as I do not want to spend a lot of money. I need to get through college first!

Whats goin on. Not too far away from ya, I live in Mt Pleasant and I am 22. i pay a little over 1000 a year for my bike. All depends on what kind of bike you have!

what are you looking for? How much you wanna spend?

Use State Farm if U can. I priced insurance before I bought my sportbike. Progressive=$2200 a year R6, 3200 for an R1
State Farm= $250 a year R6, 268 for an R1
I have no violation on my record, married, and 28yrs old.

Thanks for the info guys. I am looking for like and 80's fz600. I just want an older bike to learn on and one that is not going to cost me a lot of money. I have a buddy who might sell me an old 1980 something honda, I really don't want a honda but for $500 it would be something to learn on and I wouldn't worry abotu coverage for the bike. Then once I learn I could get an R6! Kyle you go to cmu?
