I really love the new Apex GT but no matter what angle I look at it I don't care for the windshield - I like the windshield on the Attak, but it doesn't look as though they interchange - are there aftermarket windshields usually available the first year of a sleds production?

P.S. - it is actually the Nytro windshield that I like

you should be able to switch them between models i would think. There will be aftermarkets as well, it just takes them a little while to be able to design them to fit the new model of the body.

I takes so little to tool up aftermarket windshields, they will be for sale before the snow flies

they'll be for sale as soon as the manufacturer's (the big four) have their final production specs decided on. Yamaha has said that these windshields may not be the final deal, so they aren't sure on the actual production specs yet.
cobra/sportech will definately have them before the snow flies, i think the GT and ATTAK would look hot with the diamond plate shorties and matching hand guards....

Some of those windshields really cool but really cold too. For us older guy's with thinning blood we need alot more wind protection.
