I had put a post up looking for a SRX7 or XCR8, and low and behold I found 2 of them. There is 1 in Sault St. Marie,Ontario but the guy is asking like $9700 Cdn. "before tax." A couple days later I had an email sent to me about a new one in Michigan. It's a guy who has 4 of these sleds and had bought the 01 from a dealer last year. I asked for pics but it was still in the crate nice and warm in the garage. He pulled her out put it together and sent me a bunch of pics.Showroom mint condition with .3 of a km on it. $5700 is what he wants which I don't think is unfair.Brad if you XCR had 0 miles or less than 200 I would take it. Brad sellin the amsoil! me too! Do you know of any new ones around Ontario? I don't care either way the 700 will save me a little on insurance. MrTahoe I'm going to keep it for a trail sled but more so set-up for top speed running. The groomed trails up here in Northern, Ontario are mostly fast vs. the tight and twisty. I mean we've got so many that are 50ft. wide and straight as an arrow for a mile with perfect sight ahead. My buddy has an SRX with cut heads, porting, many hours of clutching and good carburation, and this thing flies. He rides it as his trail sled but still will pull (laser radar proven) 127MPH. I'm looking forward to picking on some bigger displacement because there is nothing more amusing than going by some bigger iron. My buddy with the SRX gave another guy we know with a new Z1000cc a spankin from dead stop all the way to the top. I'm going to set it up for max speed but will have enough traction to bite on some friend to friend weekend racing. What I'm about to say might sound ludicrous but it works. I'm going to run 168 1.325 studs down the middle on the .91 track. The last year I was advised to run real long picks(above normal) by a guy and have had solid reliability no rips or tears. My sled right now has a 136x.83 lug and I've got 170 1.325 studs on it with 0 problems. I raced on ice this year and lost once to a 1000cc T-Cat with Jaws race pipes and many mods. MachZ1000,many F-cats,SRX,and some old 3x3 ski-doos could not come close due to lack of traction. I think it poses more of a risk for damage when you spin with studs and they grab as compared to a straight dig and launch. The only concern with the SRX is the low slung suspension and my weight 205lbs. no gear. From you fellow owners do you think this will be a problem or not? Also some guys on here are saying that these sleds are hard to get to transfer when racing? I know the ones I raced it seems like on the line they hit it and the sled stayed there like a log spinning while I was already 40ft. gone full throttle. This was probably due to a lack of knowing what to due as my buddys SRX will make me put my tail between my legs.
