I'm not 100% positive, but I think my 02 engages at 3800. I hope this helps.

from the factory srx's engage at 3800, although mine is at 4200 because of mods.

I've played with mine from anywhere to 3800-4600rpm and I have found 4000rpm to be perfect for me. Anything more and gas mileage suffers due to running higher rpm at slower speeds. Anything lower and you don't get the snap out of the hole that helps in drag racing.

My 98 with Bender clutch kit is 4500, my 99 which is stock comes in at 4200

thanks for the examples. mine engages at 3800. i would like to get it 4,000 atleast. i have the bender clutch kit. how can i get it to engage at 4,000.
