Pipes On A 2001 Srx

Has anyone had any luck putting pipes on a stock srx. I know putting them on a big bore they work good. Any recomendations what kind?

i went with the hauck howlers they are a race pipe my motor wasnt a big bore but just stage 3 ported by hauck picked up great improvments. thanks james
 
I could have sworn I saw a post that said srx stock pipes are the best pipes for a stock motor. I think the thread started with can's and moved into pipes.
 
the stock pipes are the best for the stock motor. Its when you get into the mods (race porting, big bores, etc) that require increased airflow that aftermarket pipes can and will give you an advantage.
