I should know this...but it is pouring out here and I do not want to venture outside to measure!! 
Going to re-stud my Viper this spring and was wondering what size I should use. I will use Woodys and I know some charts are different from other companies. I have a stock Yokohama with 192 studs. What size and where should I get them? I want to say 1.175?

i used 1.075 woody's in my .92 stock Jokahoma with great luck, it hooked up quite well and have no pull throughs in 5,500 miles) although that depends heavily on using your head in low snow conditions. My buddy used 1.175 on his stock .92 and it hooks up even better, but he has A LOT of problems with bent studs on that thing. Both will work, your choice now.

Just looked at the Woodys site and they recommend 1.00 size. They are pros, so I will probably do that. Thanks for the speedy response Yamaholic.

now that you mention it, I had the 1.175 and there are alot of bent ones also!!

Well, it shouldnt be that bad. Holes are allready there. Gotta take the old out then put in the new, Better make it a case!! Another stupid ?. I can re-use the old backer plates correct?

oooh, you know me, i'm biased to C&A's, they are my favorite because of how hard they dig in the corners. I love being able to rail the corners whether they are hard packed or loose. They are also very durable and strong, all of the popular carbide manufacturers make runners for them, they are lightweight, and they cushion bumps decent. I've had them as my last 3 sets of skis.

Another quick ? Yamaholic. They (1.075) won't hit the tunnell will they?

As long as you have your stock protectors still in place your tunnel will be fine with the 1.075 studs. I have zero nicks in my tunnel after 1.075, they don't protrude even close to far enough to hit. Yeah for a .92 track the 1.075 is great. I just got a 1" hacksaw that i am going to stud with 1.175, that should work nice too.
