Engagement RPM for Racing?

Hey guys, what is better for drag racing 1/8 mile, a lower or higher engagement rpm, I have good traction.....

Higher rpm engagement is better for racing.Get a spring to engage at around 6500 and you'll rocket out of the hole.

Thanks, I was going to try some shims first, I have it engaging at about 4400 now, will see what it feels like at 5 first, I have good traction but my belt seems to slip a bit on take off, i got the 89l (softer belt) coming now though. hope it will all work out, racing starts Feb 15'th here in Labrador.
