I put them front and rear also put the Maxxperformance light weight long travel kit in the front. Brand new take offs from a dealer. I am about 215 lbs and I cranked up the front pre load and have the rear skid rear set in the middle. The rear center cranked up pretty good with about 15-18 mm thread on the limiters. I thought the new viper fronts sucked up moguls and bumps 100% better than stock KYB's. Those things are crapped comared to the Viper fronts. The rear I don't have dialed in quite right yet, next year I guess. What I mean by that is the grommed trails the thing was great, cornered like it was on rails, left many of my friends in the dust in the corners on their cat's and edge-x's. I thought for 175 bucks this was the best money spent. The only other thing i did was add bender ts3 rods with 8 mm extensions. and longer limiter straps. Can't wait for next year, I need more time to learn. Also had a great hole shot, added a 51/43 helix. Boy this stuff is fun when you work on this stuff and it does what you want.

reap i modified the ends of the viper shocks to fit in the cradle that is atached to the bulkhead.was going to get longer shafts for the stock owens if it road like crap but the extra wieght of the srx works good on them.did front and back cranking the springs rate up i got 20 inch lift at the both bumpers!installed rxi front springs and adjusted for 16 inch front bumper and 17 inch back.pm me i will send you up a pair ready to bolt in.len

sorry i did not answer your post longer rods on my sled and stock rods my wifes 600 srx cant tell any big differance in the two but mine will rail better, had to modify the sway bar bracket for the longer rods.
