I remember a couple of years ago when Mark was trying to market some products of his and this was one of them for the 98/99 SRX and wondered if anyone has had any experience with one,good bad or otherwise.Any still out there?

ummmm....that's what comes stock on the 00-02 SRX. That is also why the 00-02 SRX's have the dual headlight instead of the single headlight like the 98-99's had. If you want to upgrade you will need to do some machine work to the cases and then need an all new ignition. I don't remember Mega Mark marketing that, but Yamaha pushed it quite a bit.
I realize the 00/02 SRX's came with the rare earth magneto but I was almost positive that Mark offered the same thing for the 98/99 SRX's too.If I remember right he advertised it as the main benefit being lighter and allowing a quicker reving engine.

I think it was an billet aluminum flywheel. Nothing to do with the magnets as far as weight.
