My bud has a 700 XT and the grip warmer dial has no affect on the temp of the grips,they are too hot and will not adjust.I checked the dial and it's ok so I went looking for the regulator but not being familiar with the layout of the V Max I could'nt find it and we wanted to go riding so we bailed.Has anyone else had a similar experience and could you share with us your fix please?

do both the hands and the thumb work? The system is parallel, so when one thing goes out the others will get a lot hotter.
The Adjustment dial is a rehastat (sp) which is a variable resistor. Check the switch with an Ohm meter. Sounds to me like the resistance isn't increasing through the switch and the grips are running at the lowest resistance setting.
I allready ohmed out the dial and it was ok.I checked all the connections and everything is wired up properly so I'm thinking the regulator is bad.
