hydraulic brakes

Can anyone give me any info on how to bleed the brakes on my srx after
I changed the brake line> Tried already and only get air no fluid>>

I use a Mityvac to get them started, then the pull the lever, crack open the screw, close the screw, release the lever till I am sure all air is out. I also use Motul brake fluid, as it resists heat very well. The Mityvac is avilable at Murray's for about 30$ One more thing. There is ableed screw on each side of the caliper.
