I am wanting to get a new pair of skis for my 02 srx. I would like a set for aggressive trail riding and off trail every now and then. How about a set that would run the shaper bars by stud boy. Thanks for your help.

I would not be a good one for advice on the skiis, but I have tested the shaper bar. The idea isn't all that bad, but in the real world it doesn't work in my opinion. If you take your sled and turn the skiis all the way to the right or left you will see that the angle on the carbide changes. I can't remember the degrees but basically the edge on the shaper bar lifts the carbide. On a normal bar, the bar can roll to the right. I'm not sure if this makes sense. It's hard to explain without a picture. In deeper snow I can see how these could help. The groove in the side would help grab snow better than without I would think. Just my .02

C&A Pro's! I have had them on my last three sleds and they will probably be on the next one. Awesome bite in the corners, lightweight, durable, much wider and longer than stock, great set of skis.

I have a pair of Blue USI Project SX Skis with 301 HP silver mounts, super flex rubber handle, and shaper bars, used only once for sale. Let me know if your interested.

If you want the sled to ride like it is suppose to, don't get the C&A's. They are great ski's, but sit too low and create a lot of darting issues. They mount about 3/4" lower and really throw off the geometry. If you have shock extensions they are awesome, but if not, and you get into powder you might as well put a blade on her.

I dont have a problem with my C&A on my srx. They are much better than stock they actually get flotation in powder. Id Recomend the C&A i've run em on my srx for 3 season never had it dart once or get stuck in snow.

I have the C&A Pro's as well and they are awesome, incredible bite through the corners, can really rail.

Thanks for the response guys. Does anyone have any opinions on the csi skis. I would rather have a ski that handles great above all else. Thanks again

I set my brother up with the USI project X skis on his 800 Rev. It used to push in the corners bad. Now he carves them up and rails through. He loves them. AmSnow did an article on them this winter and gave high marks for the ski.
