Personally I would want a bigger lug track than 1" if I was doing Water X racing. They usually start really close to the water so your going to want the xtra paddle when first hitting the water. If it were me I would get a 136x1.25 or 1.50 but you dont want to get to big of a lug height.

yea if you're planning on racing i would go bigger than 1 inch, as he said. Talk to strub about this, this is his specialty Either way i would think a full bar/block lug track would be the best, because it would have the greatest paddle effect. Something like a 9830 would probably not work as well because it basically has no lugs in the center of the track.

I would talk to strub motorsports on here one time I thought he told me he uses a 121by 1" or 11/4" I can't remember.

you need to set them up to cross water, you can't just expect them to be water crossing demons in stock form without touching them. You need to seal up the bellypan and vents as the very minimum thing. For racing there is a whole bunch of things that have to be done. SRX's can be built to do quite well on water. Maybe not quite as well as the sx's because of the added weight, but they can be very competitive.
