When drawing in more cold air by the addition of holes with filters one has to wonder about the 4 holes that draw air into the air box from the engine compartment. What about blocking the 4 holes off as well?
Could a tempa flow which will compensate through the float bowl and automatically adjust the fuel work with no so called warm engine air as well?
Does the stock jetting take his warm air into consideration and one should jet richer?
Thanks for any help....

if you are talking about the sx type airbox, and the bottom drain type holes, I plugged mine all up, then drilled two small 1/8 holes for oil/water draining..........

MM, the 4 holes are on the cowl near the air intake about 1.5 x 2.5 each, the air is draw in from the engine compartment...if the holes were blocked all incoming air would be drawn from behind the windshield.

MM, pick up your cowl and look right where the air filter recess is, under that is the 4 holes that draw in warm under hood air and mix it with outside behind the windshield air that would be colder, but by blocking off the 4 holes all incoming air would be colder and not warm engine air..just a thought.....
