it CAN be done, but probably not too wise. You have to really watch it, definately can't run too long of studs, gotta keep your track nice and tight, etc. The clearance with the 9 tooth drivers and studs in a 1.25" track is very minimal, which is why almost everyone puts in 8 tooth. However, Maddogg has a lot of miles on a couple setups with 9 tooth drivers and studs and says he hasn't had any problems.

I think 1.325 would work fine, just make sure you keep that track tight
