put studs in or have it rev around 8400 and weight if it over revs take it out if it under revs

you are going to want a taller lug profile if you are racing on snow, and definately a set of transfer rods.

Ya unless you're racing on hardpack you will want a big lug track. Transfer rods would be good too as yamaholic said Top RPM should be 8400-8500. I have my engagement at 4500 RPMS. My setup is for all types of riding though not just racing, so maybe you'll want yours even higher????

actually for snow drags you will want to get the engagement down lower than you would for ice or grass, so that it doesn't have the tendency to break the track loose on engagement.

whats gearing,primary spring,weights , helix ????

for gears i would say you would want to be around 22/39 or so, and i would've said 8BU weights but i doubt you will be able to keep traction with them. If you had some killer traction it would be a lot easier to give you a good set up. Anyone else? I wouldn't go too steep on the helix for the same reason, you want it to apply the power smoothly, not slam it down quick, because it will just want to break the track loose.
