The reed spacers will be one of the Mods I'll make to my sled over the summer. The question is, who makes them?
I e-mailed Bender, they said that they don't.
Thanks,

Browse the vendors section on the forums, Maxximum Performance has them on sale right now.

reed spacers don't work unless you are in higher elevations? Since when? They move the cages out of the way of the transfer ports that they partially block in stock position. Elevation has nothing to do with it.

I may be interested in getting some spacers for my 00 SRX that has rad valves. How will these spacers help in my performace? What do they actually do to make it better? will I have to rejet?
thanks

they don't do much of anything on the vipers and the srx's because they have a slightly longer intake tract, so the cages don't really block the transfers on these style engines.
What will the spacers get me? Hauck Powersports said that their poweup kit that also includes the thin head gaskets are good for 2-3 HP. Hardley seems worth the bother.

no jetting or any other adjustments needed. You will feel the difference after you do it to that 600. The one thing that you need to make sure of is that the center float bowl does not rub on the steering column after putting in the spacers. If it does rub, you just have to throw a couple washers under the rear motor mounts to get it up a couple mm, otherwise it wil eventually rub through the float bowl and could cause an obvious hazard. Just check it out when you put it together.

ya the difference is all in your head u think its faster......although i am a firm believer that every part helps if u keep adding them up.... thin head gasket gives u more compression so it feels like it has more pull to it
