got a head with the CPR mod done to it.
would it be a big improvement on cooling to run the opticool gasket also?
that is what I thought I was going to do.
is there any thing to look for on this used head?
what about compression? different layers of gasket?
riding in Iowa, or out west in the mountains @ 10,000 feet?

I would bolt it on and do a compression check and check the squish before I did anything else.

Run either the stock gasket or the opticool gasket with it at your normal riding elevation. The opticool will help with the cooling yet also. Out west you could take 1 layer of gasket out and be safe, but don't try it when riding in Iowa!

I looked at the 2 heads and it looks like it was plained and all 3 rechambered to match?
the stock chamber is smooth, while the CPR is machined??
I thought they would just change the chambers, wouldnt plaining increase compression?
or do they take so much out of the chambers they need to plain to raise it back up????
