Hey guys, anyone have any HP/Torque curve data sheets on the bender 800 big bore, or the union bay 944 or Price 950 ????? I would like to do some comparing......to see where they make their power compared to stock with bender pipes.

Hey guys, no-one knows where to find this information???IM thinking on buying a big bore kit but am not sure which one to get, Price, hauck, bender, CPR, etc... Wanted to see some HP curve specs first.
Big bore
Well, my opinion is a "standard" big bore isnt worth the dollars, and as you can see from your limited responses the clutching etc will be work to figure out. I would use caution spending anymore coin on that machine, because the new ones are almost here.
To answer your question:
I would say a "standard" big bore has been mastered by cpr & bender
However if you want to get really crazy --I'd go Price.
Either way it will rip, but I'd save your 2-3 k for the new turbo...

Thanks for the input, Bender says they have the clutching specs there but it's gonna cost like 5 grand Canadian for the complete kit, I plan on keeping this sled for a very long time however, I love the sled all around, and I do race it occasionally so I was wondering on the big bore kits, I seen so many different rated HP's for the price engines, I would love to see some on a chart.

big bores
stay away from price, not many people know this but its recommended that every 100kms that u put in new connecting rods, b/c they break, adn well u figure out whats gonna happen to it if it goes out, just what some guys ahve told me, not necessarily true, but thats my .02 cents

We figure around 165 hp with triple Bender pipes and V-force reeds and stock carbs. More with 38's.

how much more do you think 38's would make on this engine? and how much do you think it would make on my 700 triple with porting and triple pipes/reeds??
