Whats a good choice? I'm going with at least a 2 inch riser and have a boss seat that has a 3.5 rise. I'm thinking of going with pro-tapers, but I"m afraid they will be too wide? any suggestions?

i loved the set of pro tapers i used to have, very comfortable yet aggressive bend for me, and much stronger and lighter than stock. I would definately use them again.

I have a set of 2002 MXZ440 Race bars on mine, with hooks, power madd pivot block and 4 inch riser. best set up i have ever seen.

Are the pro-tapers you used the motocross model? thanks

I ran wide handlebars for a while, I've got wide shoulders, it flt much better.

there were several downfalls.
the aftermarket bars were much stronger with a center brace, I believe this lead to a broken steering collum.

the extra width had my hands unprotected by the windscreen.

Made getting the cover on tough

the cables were at the limit, made TORS a problem. (going to be a real problem with a 2" rise)
