well, looks like i'll be out of commission for awhile. out cuttin firewood, something i've done since i was like 10, when the saw kicked back and ripped open my leg. guess i'll have more time on here now!!!

wow, sorry to hear that man, that has got to kill. I'm just now starting to be able to walk decent again since my ACL surgery 5 weeks ago. Stairs are a a pain in the ace though.

that happened to my uncle except it cut him under his arm around his arm pit where the artery is. His friend had to carry him back and squeeze the artery at the same time. hes fine now - lol

There are 2 kinds of chainsaw users those that have been cut and those that will be!!!

Hope you heal fast but look at the bright side ............
CHICKS DIG SCARS!!!

Chaps are worth their weight in gold. And lots cheaper than doctor bills and less painful. Hope you heal up soon!

ya, i'm feelin ya. was cutting again the other day, 2nd day back to cutting, and i had a log on the ground with another log's end perpendicular to it right under it and when it touched the other log it jumped straight back at me (the butt of the saw) and socked me good in the gut. just a few more acres to clean up and we'll be able to put them suckers away till fall. thank goodness!!!
