srx problem

when I first go for a ride with my srx and tried to put the throttle more than half for the 1st tell miles the clutch or something seems to hook up, make a noise and give a jolt. Does any one have any ideas on this?

Do you have proper chain tension on it?Check that out

I changed the belt with no success when it was doing that.

it sounds like it is comming from the clutch side, it sounds almost like when a chunk of ice flies up into your tunnel and hits against it, that sort of crunch kinda sound, after that it gives a jerk and then I got another 10 miles before trying that again and it works fine. ????????????????

problem with srx

i would guess that it is ice coming loose from under your tunnel,makes the noise when it gets to your drive axle.I have that happen all the time,the snow melts off the heat exchangers and turns to ice and when you first start out it comes loose and gets wedged between the drive axle and front heat exchanger.

I never thought about that, but I have another srx and it doesn't do that so I dunno, I'll check everything out and see what it is.
