hammertime setups: Turk?

just about to put a set of hammertimes in my '02 viper, and wanted to see if anyone had any good setups/comments before i went with supertorquers base setup. i heard their setups were useless, so i figured i'd throw it out there. i'm running a heel-x roller w/42-38 helix, stock secondary spring, 1" 9830 camo track w/96 studs, ohlins shocks, torque limiter, and rev.-- everything else stock. do mostly trail and weigh 160- if that helps ya. appreciate any input

are they the new style hammertimes, cut from a full piece of stock, or are they the first generation? There were quite a few problems with the first generation ones "holding together"

run the white spring , leave the tip and the and bottom holes empty , to start i would but the max weight in the swing shoulder i think that is like 3.5 grams , take it out and see what rpms you run , if you to high of rpms with that set up add a gram or two to the tip , you want as little weight in the tip as you can to pull the correct rpms ...

b2so- thanks for the info. i didn't get a white spring with it- all i have is a gray and a red. i've heard to use the red- better for trail use? i think i'm gonna try just what you said and just weight the shoulder to start. does more weight in shoulder= lower engagement? looking for low- 4000- 4300. now the summer's really gonna be loooong.(hmmm, wonder how it's gonna run with the new mods) wish i had some snow to try it on!

go to the other site and do a search under kirkswim. he and turk jut did his this winter and the setup rocks. or just pm turk directly. im shure he can line you up
