Per the title I have 192 and looking to go down to just 96 or maybe 144, is it ok to leave the holes as is? This is on a camoplast predator track. Thanks!

yes it is okay to leave holes open, but if this is on a viper you don't want to be going down to 96 studs. I definately wouldn't want to go less than 120 or 144 on a 120 horse sled, way too much stress on the studs and track.
