250 Bravo Help

Does anyone know what component fails most in the pull starter. When I pull it it makes a clanking noise and does not engage most of the time.

Also my son bent one of the skis (don't know how??). I there an aftermarket ski I can use or do I have to go oem???

I had similar symptoms on my Phazer. There was a little spring which holds a cam i place which had slipped off.

I bought new skis for my Bravo last year; the invoice says part 8F3 23710 01 00 and they were aftermarket, but sorry, I don't remember the name of the mfg. The cost me $55 Can each, but didn't come with any of the mounting hardware.

Thanks, I see someone parting out a bravo on e-bay, will see if they have any parts.
