Need new track

Hey guys, Just wanting some helpful opinions on whether to go with a 1" or a 1.25" track on my sled. I have been told if I go with a 1.25 I will lose significantly on my top end. (1993 exciter II SX 570) I recently purchased this sled, and it still has the original track...... not much fun in 2 -3 feet of powder. Will a 1.25" fit under this sled and clear the coolers and bulkhead without any bullwork? Thanks

I would get the 1.25" no question, I put a 1.5" track on my 1981 enticer 340 (32HP) and it never slowed her down, and I had a 2" track on my MMax and cut it down to 1.1" to see if it would make it faster and it never made any difference below 1.5"

I agree. Go with the 1.25" I had a 1.5 on my SRX and put the 1.25 on for better traction (1.5 was a soft lug). There was no speed difference between the two.
