ok maybe im a fool but what was your coldest ride this season?
mine was in febuary of this year. -40celcius + windchill of a wind of 20kph.
the old sled and bros viper started right up no problem. my sxr we had to heat the jug with a micro funace for 20 min to get it to fire on one cyl. warmed it up for 1/2 hr before we went on ride and it never quit smokin for the legnth of the ride. man that was cold ride! needless to say there was no sustained wot runs that day.

Mine was in january at -40F-ish big wind chill, not sure of it though.
I had the same problem wiht my SX only fireing on one cylinder. Once it warmed up, didn't it ever move. Not sure what i was thinking but i decided to go for an hour ride or so. Handwarmers didn't work,(cut the wires putting on the handlebar hooks).

-17f or so. It was a Long day, and I was damn cold by the time we got back. MX helmets are not designed for those conditions. It never gets that cold on the mountain! I'll add that to the list of why flat land trail riding blows..lol

January in Wawa -36F. It took 22 pulls to start my SRX that morning. We rode about 300 miles that day. Thank God for heated shields.
