I was riding today and my pyro egt gauges were working fine, then at about 30mph in 30 degree weather. The egts went from 1000 to 1300, so I went about 10mph not to blow the engine then pulled over. At idle the sled was 1500 degrees according to the gauge. I checked the plugs and they were fine. I had rode the sled in -10 and it was reading 1150. I then said **** it and just went for an hour long ride with no problems. The gauge stayed frozen for both egts at about 1483 the whole ride going up or down a degree or 2. After awhile the gauge for both just said OL. I think maybe it means overload. I saw temps up to 1600 on the gauge. The oil light was also comming on every once in awhile. By the way about a week ago the plug for my headlight bulb melted on 1 prong. I just got the sled back from having the dealer put the gauge and heated shield hookup. I think they messed something up, and i know there going to give me the old it was working when it left here speech and its not our fault. Anyone have pyro gauges? Anyone have any opinions what I should do? Has this happened to anyone? Anyone got any opinions at all? let me know
