Looking for sled wear for my 13 yr old must me a thousand choices just on Dennis kirk! what is a minimum amount of insulation for a jacket, bibs ? also ebay has these pull over racing jackets, are thoes nice to get as just a waterproof wind proof outer shell and layer underneath with fleece? he has a 02 proX 440 fan so yellow or red is what i am looking for! Thank you!

FXR makes a lot of nice suits. They will have any kind of colour combination you can think. I have one and it has the wind deflector and then it has the liner. It was real warm in -30. Then if its nice out just unzip the liner. I just use Sears snowpants lol.

I have the full FXR Octane pant and jacket and absolutely love it. They look great and really keep me warm. The pants really surprise me, they are VERY thin, i dont even think they have any insulation and i have only gotten cold legs once, and it was a 365 mile day and COLD out. I was only wearing jeans underneath though, no thermal underwear. That may have had an effect
