Hey guys,
I was wondering where i can get an Avenger for my viper.. i PUt my pipes on and a buddie of mine told me i had to get one To See if the Jetting was Good or Bad.. and i can't tell how shes runnin with out one.. a Clamp Set not a weild kind cuz i already got my Pipes Cermaic coated and to weild them would look like shit! so if Anyone got one just hangin around send me a reply ..thanks alot Guys

Just because you have egt's doesn't mean that you can tell how its running at first. You still need to read the plugs and piston wash at first. Your exhaust gas temp can vary alot by where you install the probes, so when you are told to run at 1,200 degrees and you are showing 1,250 you may not be lean, your sensors may be a little closer to the cylinder then the guy that told you that. EGT's are a good idea, but you really need to set your sled up without them first. I get all my stuff from Exhaust Gas Technologies. Also, if you have access to a mig welder I would get the weld in probes, they are much easier to position. I tried the clamp on ones and couldn't find a good place to mount them because of the spring hoops on the pipe.

Yah, he told me To Take her out for a Fer days See if My DCS light comes on and if it does than change my jetting.. REallyi dont need to do that because of my Vari-Flow.. but he said It would BE great to see how shes Runnin by lookin at the Gadges to see if i need to change a few parts...yah he Told me to get the Clamp ones beacuse he told me if i Weild it to my Pipes im going to make them Look Like shit but i guess IT dosn't matter but i did pay omost $400 to get the Coated.. is it worth it? he told me The best idea was Clamp not much hasltle to weild and stuff... well Do you got anythign lieing around because i'm lookin for some and still can't find htem.. its like $500 for a Brand new one and i can't afford that man hahah i just spent over 3,000 on my skidoo, Pipes, Cermaic Coat, Primary and secondary CLutch kits V-force3 Reeds and Reed spacers.. all Costs Alot of money.. i can't wait for snow

You can buy the clamp on ones and if you can't get them to work it is only a few bucks for the weld on mounts. They are the same sensor, so if the clamps don't work, you're not out a whole lot to buy the weld on ones. Thats what I did, not a big deal. I have nothing laying around, but every now and again I see someone on here selling an avenger. Another way to go would be to replace your whole dash with a racepak udx, as seen in my avatar. Just a thought, but it does do a whole lot of stuff for only $150 - $200 more than a new avenger. I will keep my eyes open for a good used avenger, but I'm willing to bet that someone on this site has one for sale.

Yah, how much was the one you got? it looks Pretty sweet though man.. I like it but is it alot of work to fit in? yah i kinda dont wanna weild but if i got to watever im ovver it.lol yah i think my buddie got one but i think its only for a twin, not a triple so i don't know.. kinda hard to find one but ill get one eventully.. just keep ur eyes peeled for me and if ya runs into one just send me a reply.. yah My buddie was Sayin that it is HArd to put the clamp ones on but it saves alot of Trouble.. but watever i needs one so either one is great..lol a new avenger is like $500+ and i dont have any money on me right now. hahah skidoo parts are expensive...
