what modifications ( if any ) do I need to do to my 98 sx 700 VMax rear suspension to install the two stock viper rear shocks i have just purchased? do I need longer weight transfer bars? what about the limiter straps?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am doing this right now hoping to have it put back together this weekend, I ordered the long limiter straps ended up being the same length as my old ones! could be the guy I bought it from just happened to install them I do not know! but I can measure them for you ,they are still in the OEM package, also you will need the 10 mm white nylon spacers, after that you should be good to go but what I ended up doing was totaly dismantle the skid powder coat all metal parts & all new bushings I also needed a new axel(rear) & all bearings needed replacing It just grew & grew & grew! Pioneermotorsports gave me a very fair price for most of the things I bought, but the bearings I bought through e bay plus check your idlers wheels! kind of a pain but if you have ignored these things now is the time to fix it while the weather is warm!

Thanks for the info. If you have a chance, can you measure the limiter straps? Also, are the 10mm white nylon spacers the ones on the weight transfer control rods?
Thank you,
Dusty
