I found this really cheap 2000 MM for sale. The thing is, the guy has put on a dual buld headlight, but fortunately he has only plugged one of the bulbs to the ignition system, otherwise he would have ruined something (stator). My question is, when he put on the dual headlamp, did he have to modify (grind) the hood making it impossible to re-fit the single headlamp back in there? Or is this a clean bolt and go operation?

the hoods are the same, its the gauge pod on top of the hood that is different with the different headlights.
he is right, but i know a few guyd who did the same thing,only pluged the extra light in at night, they had and still have no problems
or you could try to find some led headlight bulbs to go in there. they make em for cars so why not sleds?
