hey guys let me know what you think. i put on some delta's, a boost bottle and tempa. the tempa is giveing me all sorts of problems. it is really leaning it out. about 150 degrees on the top end. i even richened it all the way up. i pulled if off and my jetting is really close. i'm running 152, 151.3, 151.3 let me know what you guys think. or if any of you have had any experience with this set up. thanks

sorry i forgot. stock needles settings and 42.5 on the pilots with 1.25 turns out on the screw.

On my '01 SRX 700 (w/race logic porting) I ran the tempaflow with stock reeds/cages, no boost bottle, cold air kit, 42.5 pilots, stock needle position, and 156.3 mains (came out of a buddy's viper). I'm not sure how much the boost bottle will effect your main jet requirements, but my setup was super and made lots of power and excellent gas milage. EGTs were about 1200* to 1225*F, water temp on hardpack for long periods never really saw more than 160*F. Usual trail conditions ran a water temp of 142* some powder to 155* harder pack. Sorry I didn't use my boost bottle yet, so I don't know how it effects it. Let me know how the boost bottle works out for you.

I ran my Tempa Flow all of last year with a cold air kit, no gutted box, Tempa Flow right on the dot with 148.8 148.8 150 with no problems. I initially had the jetting at 147.5 147.5 148.8 and rode with that down to -10F and the plugs were about perfect, but I didn't want to chance it. I have no idea why you are having problems, but when in doubt, disconnect the Tempa Flow. I chose to go without mine this year as I did not notice much for performance gains, however fuel mileage was a little bit better as was throttle response.

the 156 jetting was that with the air box vented or stock venting with the tempa. i am guessing that it is air box vented.

any other advice? thanks for all your imput guys, i think i'm going to try the k&N's

k&n's

If you do the k&n's just use 160 mains and you should be good, I tested this setup with my egts and it works great.
