i noticed on alot of tunnel ext you can only get for like 144 or 141,when you look at the sled from the side it looks like some one forgot to put the long track under it, the ext. is way out,is there any kits you can buy that fits the 136 track look better and i have a srx rear heat exchanger on mine so it needs to be able to mount that rear cooler, thanks sist

the only one that uses the stock cooler and isnt too long is the maxx perf kit. i have one and it looks and fits great.

yea the maxx kits are great, i think tracks usa might have one too
i talked to bruce at tracks usa and they dont work with a cooler or hose covers and he isnt sure what it fits! i dont think they sell many yamaha kits.

the difference in tunnel extension length from 136-144 is very small, unoticable until you want to extend it longer or want a place to cary your gear. to keep the srx style cooler i would recomend the maxx perf extn.and yes they make it in the shorter 136" version. for rail extns you cant beat tracks usa's. for tunnel exten's MPI, hartman and maxx perf (i think MPI makes maxx's) are the ticket. from seeing tracks usa's tunnel exts on doos, cats and yamis i would use the above mentioned suppliers first. and as for longer extensions not looking right, tell me what you think here. the top one is my 144" MPI kit on the blue viper, the pic to the right of the blue viper is bushman's hartman 136" kit, next row is reddog's 136" hartman kit (very little difference in the length of mine) and the bottom pic is grape ape's oem 136" added to an sx chassis. the ski

do you run a 1.25" on any of those? how do they do in the deep powder?

i think the maxx is the way to go, and its priced right, all the sleds look good but i still think the track looks a little short compared to the extension

there is a 1.25" on the red sx and the blue viper, they work great in deep snow if you understand track speed and have decent riding ability. might not be the greatest for super deep mountain riding, but offtrail playing in the UP of mich and northern ontario works great for me. sis, the 136" tunnel from maxx will look very close to the two red vipers, as far as length. ski

i just ordered the maxx perf one, and just to let you know they have some so called blems with some scratches for 104.95 i think from what is showing a decal wouyld probably cover them or a polish

i just held my new maxx extension up to my buddys factory mm extension, the hose covers are longer than the extension, do the maxx ones move the covers towards the front?

they go farther forward than the stock ones. use the rear mounting hole provided and make a new one for the front.
