is there a diffrence between the srx piston and the viper piston ,they look the same but have diffrent part numbers
the srx is piston is heavier then the viper piston, its the amount of beef around the wrist pin area. The srx piston also has a coating up at the first ringland. They will interchange, but I would use all 3 from either a viper or a srx so the load is the same on the crank in all 3 cylinders. they use the same rings, part number and all.

Don have you ever seen any viper pistons fail around the pin?
