Dumb Question on Viper lower grill

What is easiest way of removing for painting the grill on the tip of the hood bottom that rotates. Is it a c clip holding it on?

when you unclip the c clip it holds the hood so be ready. i buckled up my vent doing the same thing. probably best if you had someone hold on the hood when you do it.

No the screen seems to ride an an axle alone that seems to have a c clip on the end, no need to inpact the hood from what I see.

That pin is the hinge pin for the hood as well. If you do it just right you can pinch your fingers real good taking the hood off.

I remove the hoods on all my sleds every year for the summer. I take the bolts that hold the hinge to the front hoop off. Then that part can be taken off real easy without bending anything.
