I have access to a Hauck Roller secondary and I am wanting try it. I have a 02' 700MM ,-1 layer, spacers, stock jetting(elev. 0-1500),silencer mod.,stock primary spring(w/3 shims),4.5 inner,4.5 outer (eng. 4600- 8700 top rpm's). Currently I'm running a 47-41 Dalton helix, green spring@70 deg.. I weigh 200lb. Is the 47-41 possibly to steep,if it is, a helix suggestion that would get me close would be appreciated. I spend most of the time on ungroomed trails and boondocking, I'm more concerned with midrange than top end. Thanks

Soc,

How do you like the 47-41 for around here? I'm in Anchorberg too, and have an 00 MM. From what I've read here and on the SnowWest Forums is that with a roller you can drop 4-6 degrees because of the increased efficiency. So a 41-35 theoretically would work about the same as what you have now. Hopefully turk, mrsled or vmaxjohn will respond to your post. They'll probably have the answer for ya.

Keep the shiny side up!

I spend alot of time in the Willow area hittiing the bogs and back trails. It works pretty good. The rpms seem to be right on. Yes I've been told the same thing about dropping down on the Helix, just hoping one of the tuning gods would give me a suggestion. SOC
