Exciter fouling plugs

I have a 93 exciter sx that likes to eat plugs on the mag side cylinder on startup. I brought this sled up to school with me in the northern up. It never seemed to foul plugs at home in lower michigan. I am not sure if I let it sit to long when i warm it up or what. I guess it could also be the colder climate. I am currently use br9es plugs. Any ideas on solution to this problem would be greatly appreciated.
