Does a heat gun really work to get white spots out of the dark blue plastic
on sleds and ATV's? - how hot of a gun is needed? - I tried a small hair dryer
that I've used to remove decals, but it didn't seem to get hot enough - anyone got info on this? - thanks

Yes but be careful not to give it too much heat. I have tried it on ATV plastic. As you heat the plastic, watch for the color to come back and remove heat...be very careful.

What did you use for a heat gun?
A hear gun, not sure what it is called....but the heat will bring the color back to the surface....

A hair dryer is a pain in the...... either a heat gun on low, or what I use on small spots is a small butane torch that was designed for heat shrink butt connectors, works perfect, it has a very small, low pressure flame. just make sure whatever you use you keep it moving.
