anyone try a 2.3kg mm center shock spring in a long travel pro action? im thinking of trying one in my viper and am pretty sure it will improve the ride. i already tried increasing preload on the stock progressive spring and it made a noticeable improvement. i know all suspensions have different geometry, but a 2.3kg mm seems to be very close to what is being used for the center shock ons the better suspensions out there (edge, pro x). so a strait rate with a higher inital rate and reasonable preload should work well.

Sounds like a good idea to me, not sure if it will work or not. If it does make sure and let us know.

it probably will give you a better ride, especially if you pound, but you can't compare the proaction to the others in any way. Any similiarity in spring rate or any other spec for that matter is purely coincidence.
it will help but you may want to revalve to compliment the spring.
