My friends father as a SXR 700 and wants to increase the midrange on his sled likes the power of a SRX but wants the taller suspension I told him pipes would do what he wants but my question is what kind do I suggest to get?

reeds are a waste of time and money.
pipes will help considerably but also decrease reliability tenfold.

I strongly disagree with gerard...
Pipes on many sleds becomes a dangerous situation, but the 700 sx/r is so conservative (111hp stock) and so wel built that pipes have basically no effect. Yes the fact remains that HP=HEAT, but I have run -20 & -30F and never had a problem. Do I run it--YES, I never worry about blowing it or the fun is over. Hold that throttle open, and enjoy.
Pipe that 700 and you will have a real 132hp, and it wil surprise a lot of sleds. It will not beat a SRX on the LAKE.
PS: I am selling a set of Benders with clutching if interested (seling machine) PM me if interested.
