I know this has been gone over a few times, but there doesnt seem to be a for sure answer. I have a 99 srx 700 and am replacing the track. I want to know what size track for sure will fit under my sled, with studs. I dont wanna have to remove any of the protectors for the heat exchangers, or the tunnel protectors.
A 9830 Camo 1" with studs will just fit. A 1.25 un studded with tunnel & bulkhead heat exchanger protectors will fit.a 1.25 studded needs 8 tooth drivers & then you must regear the sled to back to where you were before as the smaller drivers really make a huge difference in the final drive ratio.
